Description of the child playhouse:
|
|
A hinged door can be fastened over the ladder access
area so that your kid can see who is requesting access
and decide whether or not to admit them. The elevated
floor and solid walls complete the hideaway feeling. It
is easy to add on to this design with window closures,
rope descents, sandbag enclosures, camoflauge netting,
and more. Just let your imagination guide you. Painting
is not required unless you would like to do so for cosmetic
purposes.
This guard tower is on stilts and the floor is five feet
above the ground. The play area is five feet square in
plan and there is about five and a half feet of headroom
inside. The guard tower is a wooden structure with sheet
metal walls and a wood shingled sloping roof. The plans
call for cement footings to be set in the ground thus
providing maximum stability.
